The rotating bottom muck bucket developed by Atlantic is the easiest to use bucket in the business.

By turning the kelly bar in the normal drilling direction, the bottom stays open and picks up the sand, mud and water.

By counter-rotating the kelly bar with the bucket still in the bottom, the door slides closed and seals the water and mud in the barrel. The tool can then be brought out and dumped on the ground or even dumped in a front end loader by resting the bucket on its bottom and rotating ½” turn. Dumping in the loader will help keep the job site drier.

The efficiency of this clean-out bucket has been its biggest selling point.
